Hi, friends. I have no Monday reading post for you today. We’ve had a death in the family and I don’t have any words. There is a huge hole in the world today and all I can think is, that’s not right.
So I am going to take a break to support my family and grieve in my way. I have two posts that were already scheduled for this week, and I will let those go live as planned, then things will be quiet here for a week: no posts, and I can’t promise a quick return of comments either. I’ll be back to regularly scheduled blogging on Monday, July 16.
Thanks for understanding, and I hope you check back in with me then.
Oh, Jaclyn, I am so sad to hear this. My sympathy and best wishes to you and your family.
Thank you, Sarah – I appreciate it so much, and am so glad to have gotten to “know” you a bit through our blogs.
I am so sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and hoping you and your family are doing as well as can be expected.
Thank you, Jennifer! It’s been a long road for the past couple of weeks, but we are taking our time and trying to process it slowly.
I’ll be thinking of you and your family this week. ❤
Thank you, Liz! You’re such a kind friend – I miss you!
Miss you, too! I’m in the midst of a big move, but maybe we can catch up some time this fall. 🙂
I’ve never experienced a close family/friend death, so I can’t imagine what it’s like. I’ll be praying for you and your family, Jaclyn
Thank you, Abbey – I appreciate that so much. It has been the worse for having been unexpected, but we are slowly processing and figuring out what life is going to look like now.
I just saw this and am adding my sympathy. Love to you and yours.
Thanks, my friend – and thank you for the sweet texts. It means so much.
I know this is late, but I’ve only just seen this. I don’t expect a reply, but I am very sorry for your loss. I hope you are all taking your time and processing this grief gently.
Thank you so much, Jenni! It’s been very hard. It was an unexpected, really shocking loss, and I am indeed trying to take my time in processing it. The family member we lost was very special, particularly to my husband, and we’re both struggling to believe this is reality.
