A Tale of Two Pregnancies: A GIF Journey

They say that every pregnancy is different, and that has definitely been my experience.  In fact, I suspected from the beginning that Nugget was a boy because this pregnancy has felt so different.  Examples?  How’s about I tell you a tale of two pregnancies, using GIFs because funny.  And sometimes, when it comes to pregnancy, you have to laugh or else you’d cry.

  1. Loved it! My two pregnancies were completely different too (thankfully!). The only similarities are that I didn’t have much morning sickness with either (lots of nausea, but at least I kept my food down!) and I was thoroughly exhausted during first tri for both (as in asleep on the couch by 6:15 PM every single night).

    • I’m fascinated by how different two pregnancies can be! Totally different cravings and aversions this time, much more morning sickness (although I think I still had it pretty mild in comparison to a lot of women)… The one thing I’m hoping will be REALLY different is no complications, and a healthy full-term baby this time. That’s what I’m crossing my fingers extra tightly for. The rest is just gravy. So far, so good. My PAPP-A readings were normal (they were low with Peanut) and Nugget got a clean bill of health at the mid-pregnancy scan. He’s actually measuring about a week ahead right now, unlike Peanut who was already falling behind at 20 weeks. I’m seeing a high risk specialist but so far, so good.
