Thanks! Sadly, we’re sitting Halloween out this year because of Sandy. There are too many trees down in the neighborhood to go trick-or-treating, and lots of houses are dark. I have a love-hate relationship with Halloween now that I’m a parent. It’s so much fun to dress the kids up and to see how excited they are, but it is difficult to limit their consumption of candy and defuse arguments over who got what. This year, my girls will still get dressed up, but we’re just having family come over with candy.
Sounds like a good way to spend the holiday – hope you had fun! I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts; hope your neighborhood is back to normal soon.
