A while back, I started a blog for friends and family to keep up with hubby’s and my doings. The blog was short-lived – I only put up five posts before I realized that I really didn’t have time to maintain two blogs, and I started to think about giving myself more room for creativity here instead. Here’s a selection from one post that I liked from that blog, though. It’s just a collection of pictures of some of my favorite hikes, but it’s certainly fun for me to look at and think back on some of our favorite excursions. Enjoy!

Beautiful! These are great pictures! Looks like all of these would be fun!
Thanks for your comment! They’re all great hikes. =) And I’m planning a new one for hubby’s birthday!
Once again your photos are incredible (you take the best foggy shots ever!) When were you in CA? I lovelovelove Point Reyes and need to make a trip back up there pronto.

Awwww, you’re making me blush! Thanks for the compliment on my pictures. If you like fog pictures, wait until you see what I shot in England last month. Fog everywhere, haha! To answer your question, I was in Point Reyes in September 2009. Hubby and I went to San Francisco and Napa Valley for vacation that year. I loved it out there and Point Reyes was GORGEOUS. I have family in southern California but it was my first time north of Monterey and I was astounded by how beautiful it is out where you live. I’m so jealous! San Francisco is one of the only cities I would consider living in aside from DC (my short list is SF and Denver, plus Buffalo, NY because my inlaws are there). We’re always talking about making another trip out to SF… perhaps if/when I do get out there, a meetup would be in order! 🙂
